General information about virtual mobility
There are several videos of Vytautas Magnus university sudents who had virtual mobility experience at the VMU section. More can be found at the link above.
Common procedure for virtual exchange of students:
1. Student number for exchange is approved in Bilateral agreements.
2. Student selection is organized at home institution. Responsible people provide the lists of selected students, their data and scanned learning agreements to the responsible person at host institution.
3. The initial introduction video conference for all participants "Getting to know each other" is organized by VMU at 13:00 - 15:00 CET on June 4, 2014 (the link to the conference recording is here)
4. Hosting institutions send welcome messages with the necessary logins and information on where, when and how to login and learn for incoming students a week before semester starts (also providing the contact details for key person at host institution)
5. After the exchange, hosting institution provides student home institution on the course grades (first scanned, then originals by post; deadlines are indicated in bilateral agreements).
