Teaching and learning methods:
The contents will be delivered to the students in two different ways. First, master lectures supported by theoretical materials (power point slides, book chapters, journal articles, etc.) that will be available for the students. Second, individual and group practical tasks that help students to put their knowledge into practice. Both of them will be periodically delivered to the students.
Assessment criteria:
The level of acquired competences in theoretical knowledge and practical skills will be evaluated. There will also be self-assessment tests available to the students in every unit.
Assessment methods and weightings:
The assessment will be based on three aspects: a) an exam of the theoretical contents delivered in lectures b) assessment of practical tasks c) evaluation of a research work done during the development of the course about a subject proposed by the instructor. The percentage of the total mark will be 40%, 20% and 40%, respectively. To pass the course the student should get at least 5 out of 10 in each part.
