Hello everybody!

My name is Silvia Micheletta, I'm 25 years old and I come from Pisa, Italy.

I'm a Phd student at the Department of Educational Science and Psychology at the University of Florence.

My research field is the video education, in particular I’m studying web digital videos’ potentiality in children’s education and teachers’ training. This is a subject that fascinates me a lot because it is topical (just thinking about the exponential growth of YouTube in the last 5 years!) and it has many implications in learning and teaching. The goal of my research is to define the functions of the web digital videos through refined observation, evaluation and organization criteria and to deal with the other problems related to video education, that is the development of e-learning and Media Education, the reliability criteria of web research, the qualitative analysis of the web digital video and the foundation of open repository. That's why I'm here....I hope we can have a good time together!

See you!

Hi everyone,

My name is Nan Yang, I come from Beijing, China. I am currently a PhD student in the Doctoral School of Psychological Sciences and Education at University of Trento in Italy.

My research interest is eLearning for quality teaching in higher education and now I am doing my PhD project in particular focus on ICTs for learners' collaboration in large class.

I am very happy to join this OER course because firstly I am quite interested in the content, secondly, it's also a valuable experience to reflect on how to design a good online collaborative task (a part of my PhD project) as we are working in groups.

Hope everyone have a wonderful time in this community.

Regards, Nan

Hi everybody!

My name is Álvaro Calvo López, and I´m from Galicia, one region in the northwest of Spain.

I study Education, to be a teacher in primary schools, and now I am in Kaunas in the Erasmus program. I enter in this course  because my teacher of "Information Technologies in Education" Estela, recommend me.  And I think that it is a good opportunity to improve my level in the new technologies world, to apply in the future as a teacher. Because I am very bad in this issue.

A greeting for all
