2.1.8. PRACTICAL TASK

Think of a large assignment that you have already defined for your students and consider dividing it into smaller elements. Examples may include: report/essay outline, report first/ second draft, oral presentation, etc. Design a framework to incorporate digitally-enhanced peer assessment at each stage, including information as to:

  • purpose: formative or summative assessment;

  • participants: 1:1; group-to-group; etc.

  • structure: following predefined criteria (e.g., rubrics), unstructured, ad-hoc, etc.

  • format: in writing, orally, with visual aids (which?), online rubrics, digital post/comment, etc.;

  • digital tool: LMS activity, etc.

  • time: submission deadlines;

  • space: in-class/ out-of-class;

  • etc.
