2.2.6. PRACTICAL TASK

  1. TMO1
  2. 2.2.6. PRACTICAL TASK
  • Imagine the scenario that last semester a couple of your students didn’t manage to successfully complete the course. At the beginning, students were attending and at least it looked like they were paying attention. However, at some point these students started disengaging, skipping online learning sessions, faced difficulties with the comprehension of certain topics and were late with task submissions. The course was fully online so you had no chance to connect with students as online sessions were not frequent. This semester you’re going to teach the same course, however, this time you decided to monitor student learning progress, using VLE solutions, to prevent a similar sequence of events.

    a. How would you monitor student learning progress? What tools would you use? Why?
    b. How would you involve your students into their own learning progress monitoring? What tools may be useful for that?
